This house consists of three four-plexes located in the south part of the Mesa and is close to meetings and employment.Transitional Living Communities accepts any male or female substance abuser who asks for help, with a few exceptions.  The program doesn't accept sexual predators such as rapists or child molesters.
It does accept those arrested for offenses such as soliciting prostitution.  Each case is reviewed on its merits.
Those with communicable diseases, such as TB or active hepatitis, are not accepted.  HIV positive applicants are accepted.

Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessnessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficience to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses. The naming of the two (Halfway House OR Transitional House) is oftentimes interchangeable.

Many Transitional Housing programs are subsidized and are income based. Income based transitional housing generally charges 30% of your income for rent when you do have income. Contact the transitional housing facility to see if this applies.
