Class of Housing/Services: MICAH House is an emergency shelter serving families and individuals in Southwest Iowa and the Council Bluffs and Omaha metro area.

General Information:
Our services include: Individual case management, housing, counseling services provided by Heartland Family Service, employment education classes, financial and credit education classes, parenting classes, health screenings and referrals provided by the VNA, Career Closet Boutique offering free professional clothing, computer and internet access, and food/meals to clients staying at MICAH House. MICAH House provides a variety of services and necessities including: Basic Needs MICAH House provides all clients with bedding, hygiene products and clothing. Guests also have access to free laundry services and over-the-counter medications. Meals MICAH House follows the Child and Adult Food Care Act and provides three nutritious meals and two snacks daily to all of our residents. MICAH House relies on the generosity of our community to supply many of the ingredients that are used in our meals.
