Class of Housing/Services: emergency shelter, women, domestic violence with children

General Information:
Your Safe Haven is available 24 hours. Emergency Shelter: When domestic violence occurs, the victim may not feel safe staying in her home. YSH provides emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. While in shelter, shelter staff and volunteers can explain the options that are available to them, provide a list of community resources, and create a safety plan for her and her children prior to leaving the shelter. The shelter is a short-term facility. All shelter services are free and confidential.
