Emergency Shelter for Single Women, Transitional housing Housing and Emergency Shelter for Single Women providing drug & alcohol counseling, legal guidance, laundry & bathing facilities, and is bus accessible. Meals:     Breakfast and Dinner Hours:     7:30pm – 8:00am Bethlehem Haven believes that a secure home is an essential foundation for our clients to achieve stable mental and physical health, as well as personal empowerment. All Bethlehem Haven clients who live in our housing facilities are linked to supportive services, specifically designed for their individual needs. Bethlehem Haven helps clients identify an action plan to achieve self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Housing Programs - Emergency shelter provides housing for homeless women for up to 60 days. - Transitional housing for women. - Permanent housing and supportive services for women who have multiple episodes of mental health related homelessness. - Aftercare serves formerly homeless women for 6 months past the signing of a housing lease, working to prevent future homelessness and assisting with community reintegration. Supportive Services available on site include: - Project Employ offers individualized life skills, professional development, job training, and supportive employment women and men through professional occupational therapy services. - Day Program offers safe sanctuary, nutritious meals, personal care access, case management and community-building activities for homeless women and women at-risk of homelessness. - Health & Wellness programs provide medical, mental health (902 Clinic), podiatry, and dental care for women and men in need. - Uptown Legal Clinic provides free legal counseling for civil cases in such areas as family law, landlord-tenant, public benefits, consumer protection, wills, power of attorney and bankruptcy.

Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses. The naming of the two (Halfway House OR Transitional House) is oftentimes interchangeable.
