General Information:
Emergency Hotline: (800) 388-4205. Provides legal advocacy, child advocacy, 24-hour hotline, supervised visitation, support groups, safe homes, information and referral, community advocacy and education HOTLINE SERVICES Through a 24-hour hotline, WomenSafe provides crisis intervention, problem-solving assistance, safety planning and emotional support to victims who have been physically, sexually and/or emotionally abused. COMMUNITY ADVOCACY WomenSafe offers up-to-date information to assist women in finding resources for financial, employment, housing and counseling needs. LEGAL ADVOCACY Advocates offer support and advocacy through the Relief From Abuse Order process, divorce and custody proceedings, and criminal court proceedings when domestic or sexual violence is involved. MEDICAL ADVOCACY Advocates will accompany victims to the hospital to offer support and advocacy when receiving medical attention following an act of sexual or domestic violence. SUPPORT GROUP SERVICES WomenSafe offers ongoing support groups for women who are or have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence. Childcare is available. COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH Workshops, training and presentations on domestic and sexual violence are offered to schools, community groups, businesses and other human service agencies. We can tailor presentations to meet your needs. SUPERVISED VISITATION The Supervised Visitation Program provides increased safety for children and custodial parents during visits and exchanges. Visits are held in a safe, neutral and child-friendly environment.
