General Information:
Good Shepherd Shelter/Drop-In Center/Case Management Office Office Hours Monday – Friday 9am-5pm Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm   The Coalition operates the Shelter for Families in Transition, McCall Street Transitional Apartments, and The Thatcher House. All three are affordable housing facilities intended for both short and long-term transitional and supportive housing. The Bennington Coalition for the Homeless’ staff works directly with families and individuals to design and implement a realistic plan for self-sufficiency through life skills education, case management, employment readiness, budget counseling, all with permanent housing as the primary goal.

Supportive Housing Programs that provide an alternative living arrangement for individuals who, because of age, disability, substance abuse, mental illness, chronic homelessness or other circumstances, are unable to live independently without care, supervision and/or support to help them in the activities of daily living; or who need access to case management, housing support, vocational, employment and other services to transition to independent living.
