General Information:
Provides temporary housing for homeless families of any configuration. Can include single parents with children, couples with children, families with grandparents, families with teens. The agency operates three housing units - a 2 bedroom apartment with a crib, a 3 bedroom apartment, and a house with four bedrooms. Families can stay for up to 6 months. Casework assistance is provided to help families work toward improving their situation with the goal of saving enough money to enter their on housing at the end of six months. Families may be unemployed, employed or receiving welfare. Small portion of income paid to agency to support casework services. Agency also requires certain portion of income to be placed in savings for families future housing costs. Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource.
