Class of Housing/Services: winter shelter.

General Information:
We are only open for shelter during the winter (November 1st thru March 25th).  If you are in need of shelter other times except for November thru March, we recommend you contact 211 (from any phone) or the Salvation Army at 256-764-4432. If you are currently homeless and are in need of a place to stay at night, Room in the Inn Shoals is open as an emergency winter homeless shelter from November 1st to March 25th.  In order to stay with us you must be sober and come to our intake center (the address is below in red) between 4 and 6 pm.  We are open 7 days a week, including holidays. We are not open during the day.  This program is available to anyone in need - men, women, children and families.  We will not split families up. We have a limited number of beds each night, so it is first come served. We strongly encourage you to be at the intake center no later than 4pm. You must be sober and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol in order to be eligible for our program. We welcome all persons.
