This is a Non Profit Organization that provides Transitional Housing. Review the details below: Cross Roads House opened in 1982 and grew out of a need for emergency housing in the Seacoast. We have grown from a 33-bed facility to a 107-bed facility with a volunteer Board of Directors from the Greater Seacoast. The Board meets monthly to review agency performance and assure fiscal responsibility. The emergency shelter is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Cross Roads' professional staff performs comprehensive needs assessments with each resident to focus on basic survival needs, to address long-range goals and to develop a specific plan of action. Cross Roads House is the largest emergency shelter in the state of New Hampshire. On any given night we house up to 107 individuals and families who are homeless on the Seacoast.OUR MISSION:We protect men, women and children of the Greater Seacost area experiencing homelessness from exposure and hunger.We provide secure, transitional shelter for those seeking to break the cycle of homelessness.We support individuals and families by providing them with the opportunity to move with dignity and purpose to stable and decent housing.
