As the largest homeless services provider in the region, the Coalition for the Homeless does just that by offering three levels of supportive housing services emergency shelter, transitional housing and supportive permanent rental housing. Individuals may first come to the Coalition seeking emergency support. However, they receive much more. Through a structured case management program, residents develop self-sufficiency plans that when implemented, prepare them to progress from one housing program to another. Case managers stay by residents' sides throughout their journeys so that ultimately, residents will be able to sustain themselves, and if the case, their families and thrive.
