San Gabriel Valley Coordinated Entry System CES intake site. Primary point of entry for adults seeking housing and services. Visit this site to start the process of finding housing or services. Office hours: Mondays through Fridyas 9am to 5pm. Support and Crisis Services Hunger is only one aspect of poverty and Foothill Unity Center is committed to providing a multi-service approach to resolving this crippling condition in the San Gabriel Valley. That's why we offer support and crisis services (social services) at both our Monrovia and Pasadena offices. Our Client Services Department includes four full-time case managers, two full-time support staff and part-time social work interns from Azusa Pacific University and the University of Phoenix.  Our case managers work with clients to learn about their circumstances, developing a plan to address their needs and ultimately move them toward self-sufficiency. More Services: Resource Referrals: We refer clients to a network of more than 100 organizations that can help them return to stability via employment counseling, shelter, health care, family support, mental health services, eviction prevention/move-in assistance and advocacy. Transitional Services for Victims of Domestic Violence: We collaborate with Santa Anita Family Service to deliver this assistance. Housing Assistance/Motel Voucher Program: Based on funds available, we provide motel vouchers to clients who need emergency shelter and have exhausted all other resources.. This temporary shelter gives us time to help them find a longer-term solution. Food Stamps Outreach: Clients can enroll in Food Stamps and Medi-Cal programs onsite. Transportation Program: We provide bus tokens and taxi coupons in collaboration with the International Institute of Los Angeles. Work Experience Programs: Many welfare recipients, senior citizens and youths gain experience, skills, job search mentoring and references working at the Center.
