General Information:
Provides a halfway house and substance abuse treament. The Anchorage, Inc., is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, Christ-based organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of men whose lives have been ravaged by alcohol/drug addiction. Our doors are open to men above the age of 18 who have successfully completed a 5-day detoxification period, have no outstanding warrants or court dates, no serious health problems, and are comfortable in a Christian environment. Payment assisatnce provided. Steps to Admission Individuals seeking admission to the program should call The Anchorage's Operations Office 229-435-5692 (Direct Line)     A telephone interview will be conducted to ascertain the individual's compatibility with the program.     **this interview can only be conducted with the candidate or his legal or medical representative**     After the interview the applicant will be given instructions on necessary medical screening to be completed and returned to The Anchorage via FAX 229-435-5693     After all necessary paper work is submitted and approved the candidate will be placed on the Waiting List     When bed space is available the candidate will be contacted     At admission, a $40.00 admission fee is due
