General Information:
As a homeless multi-service day center, Horizon House provides a variety of professional and hospitable services that empower our homeless neighbors to develop self sufficiency and permanently end their homelessness. We embody the belief that every homeless neighbor is a valuable member of the community. Their needs should be met in a dignified, humane and caring manner that respects a person's right to self-determination. We provide hospitality services like showers, laundry, mail service, storage, phone use, and more. We also provide case management to help each individual get to that next level. Our co-located partners help provide medical care, mental health counseling, substance addiction support, legal services, job training, and more. Each night there are 3,000 people experiencing homelessness in the city of Indianapolis. Horizon House opens its doors every morning inviting each of those individuals to a fresh start and a new day.
