General Information:

The Emergency Shelter provides 24 hour shelter for both men and women. The shelter is open 365 days a year and on average provides shelter for up to 200 individuals a night. The shelter has the capacity to house up to 300 people at a time. Meals are provided. For more information contact The Drop Inn Center or visit The Drop Inn Center website.

The mission of the Drop Inn Center is to provide safe, sanitary shelter care to single homeless men and women who are 18 years and older, who are able and willing to self care. The shelter is wheel chair/ handicap accessible, we do not provide shelter or services to sex offenders. The agency assists homeless individuals in their search for housing, employment and offers a variety of support services and support groups. The intake hours are Mon/Tues/Thurs 1:30pm- 9:00 pm, Wed & Friday 9:00am- 6:00 pm, Sat 9:00am-5:00pm & 7:30pm-9:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-9:00pm. The 222 bed shelter is separated into three distinct segregated dorms, Women, Men’s Entry dorm and Men’s Step-Up dorm.
