While most community services available to the homeless are concerned with meal provision or night-time shelter, the Day Resource Center is unique by offering much needed resources and services during the day - the highest-risk time for those who are homeless. From offering services to help maintain human dignity such as restroom facilities, showers and laundry services, to providing a safe-haven for homeless mothers and their children, the Day Resource Center endeavors to meet people where they are.
