Emergency Shelter Soup Kitchen * All services free of charge.Daily: Chapel and Dinner: 5:00 p.m. Emergency Shelter: Arrival No Earlier than 3:45 p.m. Food Pantry: Fridays 1:00 p.m. Clothing Distribution: Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nightly Chapel and Dinner      Every single night, 365 days a year, our doors open to the public at 5 p.m. What they will find here is a seat in our chapel, where our first priority is always to share the love and good news of Jesus Christ.  Anyone with the desire to hear the Word is welcome to join.  After chapel, we host a meal for our guests.  A hot dinner is prepared every day using the food we receive as generous donations from many different food companies and restaurants in our area.  We serve anywhere from 100 to 150 individuals every night who otherwise may not have had the opportunity to enjoy an evening meal. Emergency Shelter      Homelessness does not discriminate, and we see the results of that every single day.  Individuals who have lost their jobs, their families, and their homes.  They feel as though they have lost their chance at hope and freedom.  Everybody, regardless of their situation, deserves a safe place to spend the night.  Every night, seven nights a week, 365 nights a year, we provide emergency overnight accommodations for and average of 70 homeless men and 30 homeless women.  Each overnight guest has the ability to take a hot shower, access toiletries and hygiene products, sleep in a clean bed, and have breakfast and fresh hot coffee in the morning. Approximately 38,325 individuals receive the ability to access safe shelter annually at the Providence Rescue Mission because of your help and support. Road to Recovery Program  Road to Recovery at The Providence Rescue Mission is a completely free, one-year residential rehabilitation program.  We offer a safe space for you to find Christ, become clean and sober, and equip you with the tools necessary to become a capable, successful individual in Christ Jesus.  Through our faith-based recovery courses,  counseling, one-on-one relationships with mentors, and career and educational coaching, Road to Recovery gives you the tools you need to reach the potential God has instilled in you.      Part of recovery is being equipped with the tools necessary to be successful.  The Road to Recovery program offers opportunities and tools to receive your high school diploma, apply for college, and receive career and job advice from teachers and mentors.  The resources available help you to reach stability in your personal, educational, and financial matters.  Our job is to equip you to be as successful as possible, the only requirement is that you are willing to be teachable.

Drug And Alcohol Rehab programs are intended to treat alcohol and/or drug dependency.  The cost of participating in one of these programs and the method of treatment range significantly. The database operated on this website only includes residential rehab programs (not outpatient programs). We also provide Access to Recovery (ATR) Grant programs for substance abuse treatment.
