General Information:
St. Gerard Maternal Home of St. Benedict's offers housing and hospitality to pregnant, unwed women age 18 and older. A woman may come to us at any point in her pregnancy and may stay for up to three months after the birth of her child. We currently have space available. If you are dealing with a crisis pregnancy, or know anyone who is, and they are in need; we are here to offer a hand up. St. Gerard Maternal Home provides... • A nurturing and stable home environment. • A safe place where basic life skills needed for independent living are taught. • An emotionally supportive home through. peer counseling. • Healthcare referrals. • Parenting education. • Adoption information. • Case management. • Drug and alcohol assessments • Help with employment • Connection with community resources • Help obtaining medical insurance • Strict confidentiality assured • House mother on site
