Hope Homes is dedicated to reducing homelessness in our community, ensuring the well-being of each resident's mental and physical health while helping each resident gain personal development skills. Covid-19 has given homeless people another mountain, making it nearly impossible for many Americans to access safe shelter. Our shared living homes focus on affordable housing for our displaced fellow Americans. Hope Homes is committed to diversity. Our unique experiences drive us forward everyday. We will work with those concerned with a background check to determine together the best path for them. E very resident goes through a background check to ensure the safety of all residents. We partner with in-home health care providers to tend to the individual needs of each resident. Residents have the option to attend weekly personal development sessions such as: Better money management; Independence; Personal Development; Community Living. We accept SSI/SSDI, grants, HUD Exchange funds. Scholarship funds may be available. Helpful Definitions For Hope Homes Affordable Housing Solutions:
Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses. The naming of the two (Halfway House OR Transitional House) is oftentimes interchangeable.

Many Transitional Housing programs are subsidized and are income based. Income based transitional housing generally charges 30% of your income for rent when you do have income. Contact the transitional housing facility to see if this applies.

Services provided at transitional housing facilities varies from substance abuse treatment, to psychological assistance, job training, domestic violence assistance, etc. The assistance provided varies, but it is generally affordable and low cost housing. Transitional housing facilities also may or may not assist with alcohol and/or drug substance abuse treatment.
