General Information:
Family Promise is a shelter for homeless families in Ontario County. Guests receive case management, assistance locating permanent housing, physical and mental health referrals, assistance finding employment,and children are enrolled in grade appropriate schools if needed. Guests stay at the Day Center in Canandaigua from 8am-5pm, and are transported to area congregations for meals and overnight lodging. Most families find permanent housing within 2 months, however there is no limit. Guests must be able and willing to work toward sustainable self-sufficiency.
