General Information:
Our network hosts up to 4 families with a total of no more than 14 individuals at one time. We define family in many ways – a single parent with a child under 17 years of age; a parent, grandparent and child(ren), a grandparent with a child(ren); any legal guardian with a child(ren) Since we are hosting families in local congregations, we are very careful in selecting families that we believe will have the best success rate possible. Each family is given a background check and drug testing is performed. Extreme care is taken to insure that each family understands our guidelines and our families must sign a covenant that includes rules of conduct while in our program. Typically, families stay in our program anywhere from 1 month to 3 months, but we are flexible when a family is making progress and showing effort. Nationally, the success rate of FP is close to 80% – far greater than any other homeless agency in the US.   Leslie Flynn Day Center Hours: 8am to 5pm. Provides: employment assistance, showers, laundry services, mailing addresses, assist pre-school children while parents work.
