General Information:
Office Hours: Mondays through Fridays 7:30am to 5pm. Ramsey County Coordinated Access to Housing and Shelter (CAHS) provides housing services and support for Ramsey County families, single adults and unaccompanied youth who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. - Coordinated intake services for access to housing, services, and shelter - CAHS refers families to Ramsey County family homeless shelters as openings becomes available. No beds are immediately available as space is limited. CAHS coordinates the Ramsey County Coordinated Access / Coordinated Entry System (CES) referrals for the HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) region. Eligibility Ramsey County families, single adults and unaccompanied youth who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. If you are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, call one of the following numbers: Families: To see if you qualify for an intake please call United Way 211 at 651-291-0211 for a prescreen. If eligible, United Way 211 will advise you on the next appropriate steps. Single adults 25 years or older: (651) 647-3137 Appointments must be scheduled through the housing screener. Youth ages 16-24: (651) 224-9644 (SafeZone) Monday-Friday 10am - 8pm If the family is experiencing domestic violence, also try: Minnesota Day One Emergency Shelter and Crisis Hotline at (866) 223-1111.
