Class of Housing/Services: community based residential living facility
The Aurora House is a community based residential living facility that provides short term housing for men that are in need of a safe and secure home. We provide a welcoming environment which will allow each individual to stabilize themselves, while preparing for economic and housing stability.
We are not a 'Sober' home and cannot provide rehabilitative drug treatment services to individuals who are currently experiencing substance abuse issues. However, we offer several programs for individuals who may have successfully completed a treatment program. Additionally, we are a next step solution for individuals who have successfully completed other rehabilitative or restorative programs.
Our typical 'Restoration Program'averages (12) to (26) weeks to complete. During this time each resident will have one on one access to staff members and a comprehensive plan to achieve their goals. Additionally, there are group sessions for peer mentoring and interaction.
