General Information:
Supportive housing combines support services with housing to offer tenants a wide range of services designed to improve the quality and stability of their lives while increasing independence. Supportive housing helps people who might otherwise have difficulty living independently.   To achieve this goal, Supportive Housing has developed partnerships with other community agencies, combined with service coordination through short-term and long-term case management to improve the quality of life for families and individuals while increasing their stability and independence. Services offered through Supportive Housing include but are not limited to:                     Assistance with budgeting and credit repair                     Access with employment agencies                     Daily living skills training – meal preparation, housekeeping, developing support networks and socialization                     Coordination of medical and health services when necessary                     Counseling and support in achieving self-identified goals                     Assistance in meeting lease obligations and complying with house rules                     Referrals to other services or programs                     Referrals for housing                     Housing educational workshops
