Office Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F Webster County Outreach Center Some Programs and Services Offered Include: Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) - supplemental help for winter heating bills - November 1st through April 30th LIHEAP Crisis Assistance - Assistance available in a life threatening situation for temporary shelter, fuel, blankets, heaters and furnace repair. Upon availability of funding, furnace repair or replacement is available to homeowners. Weatherization - Assistance with stopping infiltration of cold air into a home. Can include caulking, weather stripping and attic insulation. Chore Service - Funds chores for income eligible applicants age 60 and older. Sponsored by Elderbridge Agency on Aging. Baby's Room - Provides clothing and supplies for infants ages birth to two in partnership with St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Birth Certificate Assistance - Availability of funding for Birth Certificate assistance. Laundry Assistance - Availability of funding for Laundry Assistance Prescription Assistance - Availability of funding for prescription assistance. Transportation Assistance - Transportation assistance for doctor's appointments. Wheels to Work - Vehicles for qualified individuals who are working or attending school. Program is offered based upon availability of donated vehicles. Partners include United Way of Greater Fort Dodge and Fort Dodge Ford. Minor Automobile Repair - Minor car repairs for individuals who are working or attending school. Must have driver's license and proof of insurance. Referral Services- Information on a wide variety of services available for those faced with situations they find difficult to solve. Client Advocacy - Assistance when help is needed with providers, organizations or difficult situations. Budget Counseling - Help for those experiencing difficulty managing their financial obligations. Special Projects - Christmas program, Back to School Bash, new hats and gloves, Golf Outing, Garage Sale, Senior Fair, Bikes for Tikes, and more based on need and availability.
