General Information:
Shelter hours: Daily: 6:30pm - 7am. The Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs manages the year-round emergency shelters for homeless individuals and families in Frederick County. The Alan P. Linton, Jr., Emergency Shelter is an 80 bed shelter, making this the largest year-round shelter in Frederick County. The year-round shelter program operates seven days from 6:30pm-6:30pm. It provides a safe refugee for adult who are homeless in our community. Clients are provided with beds, blankets, pillows and shower facilities. Personal hygiene products are available for those that need them.   Emergency Family Shelter Program The Emergency Family Shelter program is program for homeless families with children. The goal of this program is to provide homeless families with children, shelter and supportive services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The program will provide families with case management services for employment and securing permanent housing. This program addresses one of the largest current unmet needs in our community.
