Class of Housing/Services: We are serving the poor and homeless, transforming lives, and sharing God's love. Daytime drop in center.

General Information:
The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in for the poor and the poor in spirit in Fairfax Virginia. Services includes: Hot meals: Breakfast is served from 8-10:30am and a hot lunch from 12:00-1:30pm. Over 40,000 meals are served each year. Showers: We provide towels, soap & shampoo for guests to take a shower. 13,000 showers are provided each year. Laundry: Our guests can get a 13 gallon bag of laundry done each day. 10,000 loads of laundry are done each year. Haircuts: Haircuts are provided several days each week. Transportation Help: Help is provided for transportation to interviews and medical appointments when funds are available. ID and document recovery: We provide assistance to replace or obtain identification, social security cards, and birth certificates. Phone computer usage Dental & Optical Referrals Appointments for dental work (when available) and eye exams and glasses are provided to our guests free of charge. Social Security Assistance Outreach workers are available to assist our guests in filing for disability and social security. Tax Preparation Assistance Volunteers are available to help our guests file their taxes free of charge. Medical & Mental Health Specialists We have a nurse practitioner and a psychiatric nurse practitioner available to meet with our guests. On-going AA Meetings There is a daily AA meeting at 12:30 in our Chapel.
