General Information:
The House That Love Build, is a Transitional Housing & Economic Empowerment Program, serving Kings and Queens who have lost their way, and are looking for an opportunity to re-build their lives and move to a place of self-sufficiency. This program, will be implemented as a prelude from metamorphosis, to manhood or womanhood. Wholeness reflects self-knowledge, personal mastery and self- control. The inability of self-control is responsible for incarceration, addictions, abusive behaviors and irresponsibility which leads to illiteracy, dysfunctional behavior and a declining of independent progress. It is our goal to empower and motivate with the intent of instilling self-improvement and integrity in each client. The House That Love Built (I.K.E.A. Inc.)'s Mission: Rebuild Families & Restoring Healthy Communities Combat the deterioration of brokenness within individuals Become another advocate for homeless prevention Provide a haven that will initiate furthering education, entrepreneurship, stability and self-sufficiency Impliment a holistic approach to improve the whole man inside out Program Components Housing Life Skills Training Money Management/Budgeting Credit Restoration Employment Placement Business Development Home Economics Anger Management Alcohol Anonymous Meetings & other outside resource to accommodate client's needs.

Helpful Definitions For Internatonal Kingdom Empowerment Alliance (the House That Love Built):
Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses. The naming of the two (Halfway House OR Transitional House) is oftentimes interchangeable.

Many Transitional Housing programs are subsidized and are income based. Income based transitional housing generally charges 30% of your income for rent when you do have income. Contact the transitional housing facility to see if this applies.

Services provided at transitional housing facilities varies from substance abuse treatment, to psychological assistance, job training, domestic violence assistance, etc. The assistance provided varies, but it is generally affordable and low cost housing. Read the descriptions of each of the transitional living locations for more detailed information. Transitional housing facilities also may or may not assist with alcohol and/or drug substance abuse treatment.
