Class of Housing: Supportive Housing, Transitional Housing
Carlo's Legacy helps the homeless to transition from group living in residential housing facilities to living independently in the community. We also make permanent supportive housing available to the most vulnerable segment of the homeless population, the physically and mentally challenged. We are committed to growing our organization to service the expanding homeless population on Long Island.
Currently, Carlo's Legacy provides shelter, meals and support services to 80 clients every day in our six residential housing facilities. Our clients include: domestic violence victims, veterans, the working poor, the physically and mentally challenged and the impoverished. The atmosphere in our houses is homelike, sober and dignified as we strive to improve each individual's self-worth and wellness.
