General Information:
House of Charity’s Housing Programs provide various lengths of stay and levels of service to single adults who have experienced long-term homelessness and are working to attain suitable long-term housing. With staff support, clients tackle the barriers that keep them from maintaining housing stability. Individuals wishing to enter House of Charity’s Housing must be referred by a case manager, outreach worker, or other professional. Priority is given to individuals who have chronic psychological or physical health issues, difficulty meeting basic needs, or are vulnerable to exploitation. Most of our referrals come from Hennepin Health and St. Stephen’s Street Outreach. We also take referrals from the County Veterans Services Officer, emergency shelters, and county social workers.
