Safe and Sober Recovery Halfway house transitional housing. We are a safe and sober living environment for alcoholics and addicts seeking help to overcome their problems relating to substance abuse. We offer a structured program with a zero tolerance to non compliance. The two programs are the 12 Step Process commonly found in Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. It is well as all other anonymous programs using the 12 Steps. In addiction we have a Life Skills Program supported by our Rules and Regulations.

The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses. Length of stay is usually anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Residents are often required to pay at least 30% of their income toward program fees. Sometimes the money they pay in fees is returned to them when they leave. Any emergency or homeless shelter that allows their clients to stay more then 6 months is also classified under this category.
