General Information:
Our mission is to help those without resources to meet basic human emergency physiological needs, either in direct assistance or referral. Homelessness is a basic human emergency need and those without a home often have several other basic human emergency needs that the Help Office may provide or refer for assistance; shelter referral, temporary rent assistance, food, clothing, personal hygiene, prescription assistance, Lion's Club for eyes, Christian Dental for teeth, transportation, and job referrals. Our hours are 9 to 12 M-F and encourage those seeking assistance to arrive early. We are a 501c3 public charity and accept financial, food, clothing, personal and dental hygiene, baby diapers and wipes (sizes 4 and 5), bed, kitchen and bath linens, dishes, cookware, flatware, books, phone and grocery (gift) cards, coupons, hair products, haircut gift cards, dental hygiene products, job referrals provided by local employers and temp agencies. We are in need of the following volunteers to help us staff our wonderful charity (receptionists, clerical assistants, interviewers, food pantry and clothing closet, building and ground maintenance, prayer warriors. These volunteers would serve 3-4 hours weekly, if possible

Rooming and Boarding Houses do charge fees. We list them where we find them. They are a nice low cost option for housing.
