General Information:
Offers a structured 18 month program of support services, including; life skills classes, case management and financial counseling, combined with affordable rental housing to assist homeless families to aquire the skills and resources to secure permanent housing. Eligibility: Clients must be committed to addressing personal barriers and be homeless. People are homeless who are: - sleeping in places not meant for human habitation, such as cars, parks, sidewalks, and abandoned buildings - Sleeping in emergency shelters - Living in transitional or supportive housing for homeless persons but who originally came from streets or emergency shelters (This includes persons who ordinarily sleep in one of the above places but are spending a short time, 30 consecutive days or less in a hospital or other institution). - Being evicted within the week from private dwelling units and no subsequent residences have been identified and they lack the resources and support networks needed to obtain access to housing - Being discharged within the week from institutions in which they have been residents for more than 30 consecutive days, no subsequent residences have been identified, and they lack the resources and support networks needed to obtain access to housing Application process:Call for information Documents required:Proof of homelessness Fees: Homes provided below market rental costs Services: Transitional Housing/Shelter Site hours:Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm (Closed for lunch 12 Noon-1pm)
