Class of Housing/Services: Transitional housing and shelter for military families

General Information:
The National Home provides a safety net through many programs to help and house the children and/or family of a deployed solider until he or she returns if their "family plan" falls through. Also provides a Single Parent Family Program where a single parent and his or her children may participate in this time-limited, goal orientated program that lasts from 1 to 3 years. Disabled veterans who are VFW members can pursue VA Vocational Rehabilitation while living at the National Home with his or her family. Eligibility: Serves anyone in the United States who is a veteran, active member of military, family member of veteran or active duty personnel. Drug And Alcohol Rehab programs are intended to treat alcohol and/or drug dependency.  The cost of participating in one of these programs and the method of treatment range significantly. The database operated on this website only includes residential rehab programs (not outpatient programs).
