The Somers Housing Authority exists to provide decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for low-to moderate-income persons and families. It has pursued this mission for more than thirty-five years and continues to do so today. Since its inception, SHA has developed 140 units of affordable housing for low-income persons and families. SHA's largest development completed to date is Wood Crest Senior Housing Phase I which consists of 86 affordable elderly rental units.
