General Information:
Provides a day shelter, two hot meals, showers, laundry, computers, phone number. There has been a time change, operation is as follows: Mondays and Thursdays – 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sundays- 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Worship Sundays: We worship with our day center community and other friends of the Mission, followed by lunch and fellowship. Worship begins at 11:00 a.m. Bible study Fridays: We have bible study with our day center community and other friends of the Mission, followed by lunch and fellowship. Study begins at 11:00 a.m. Clothing Store: 1st and 3rd Mondays, open from 10:00 a.m. -noon Shore Store: 1st and 2nd Thursdays, open from 10:00 a.m.-noon Food Pantry: We serve individuals and families experiencing food crisis, open Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.-noon   The Seashore Missission of Biloxi is a special mission of the United Methodist Church in Mississippi and has been in service for years. Through out each year six days a week it provides a place for the homeless to rest, store their belongings in lockers, shower, wash clothes, receive their mail, make free local telephone calls, obtain donated clothing, and receive pastoral counseling. On Sundays, they additionally receive a noon meal and a church sermon. Also, once each month free medical primary care is provided. Each January and February, the mission opens as an emergency shelter providing supper and allowing the homeless to sleep each night on the church pews.
