Class of Housing/Services: Supportive housing for women.

General Information:
Provides temporary supportive housing to a clean and sober female without or with children 3 and over. Upon calling men can be referred and placed with housing. Also operates home for parolees and individuals with mental health issues; must have payee. Length of stay varies from 21 days up to one year or more, depending upon cooperation. Also provides clothing, food and personal hygiene items to the needy. Other services for adults include job training and placement, education, support services, counseling, daycare, referrals to health and other services. Additional services include: Children and Youth Cultural Enrichment program offers music and sports activities and provides volunteer counselors who visit juvenile halls; and Adolescent Group Services provides teens with education, tutoring, mentoring, music, dance and sign language classes.
