Office hours: Mondays through Fridays 8am to 5pm. Glendale Community Housing is responsible for addressing the rental housing needs of Glendale residents who cannot afford housing in the private market. Through the administration of the federally funded Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program and Conventional Public Housing programs, Glendale Community Housing helps eligible residents to secure safe, decent, sanitary, and affordable housing. Glendale Community Housing is consistently rated as a high performer by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). WAITLIST STATUS The waiting lists for the Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Programs are closed for new applications, as both contain an adequate pool of applicants.
