Class of Housing/Services: Women's Emergency Homeless shelter.

General Information:
Women's Emergency Homeless shelter. Other services provided: Counseling by referral; 1 meal/day; clothing by referral; storage facilities (lockers) Must be sober. Must be at shelter from 6pm - 7pm and out by 7:45am. Both the men's and women's shelters provide emergency shelter to a combined total of fifty seven homeless area residents each night. Staff at each location are trained to provide a variety of specialized and essential services. Support staff are trained to provide all guests with a safe and supportive environment. Case managers help guests locate permanent housing, provide supportive counseling, refer guests to other agencies as needed, organize in-house AA meetings, offer employment counseling groups, and assist clients with entitlement benefits such as SSI or SSDI. Each and every guest has an individualized goal plan.
