For single adult men and women We operate two emergency shelters for adult individuals, ages 18 and up --- Father Bill’s Place in Quincy and MainSpring House in Brockton. Guests receive triage case management, nutritious meals, health services with on-site clinics, bath and laundry facilities, and personal items. For families We shelter families at our two congregate shelters --- Evelyn House in Stoughton and Conway House in Middleboro and in apartments throughout the region.  Our congregate guests share kitchens, baths, laundry and common lounge areas, and have access to computers and indoor/outdoor play spaces. All guests receive triage case management and services for their children. Tutoring, classes and children’s activities are also offered. Shelter provides a critical safety net but, it cannot take the place of a home. In 2009, FBMS began an ambitious conversion of our shelter operations, increasing our capacity to move people to housing or care. Our emergency shelters are now Triage Centers, and are designed to put people on the path to self-sufficiency. Triage Centers Each shelter guest meets immediately with their Triage Worker when they first arrive at our shelters. Together, they create a personalized plan to achieve the shelter guest's goals. Along the way, he/she is supported by a team of housing, employment, veterans', children’s and healthcare specialists. By putting our staff and services at the “front door”, FBMS is jump-starting the housing search process, addressing the unique needs of each individual, and connecting people with the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
