General Information:
Family Promise of Blount County provides families with children who are enrolled in the program are provided overnight shelter for a maximum stay of 90 days, a feeding program 3 times a day and intensive case management services to assist in finding lasting jobs, homes, child care and other community resources. The goal is to help families become self-sufficient.Contact during office hours: Sundays through Saturday 7am - 5pm.To be eligible for transitional housing services: Homeless families with children under the age of 18. Must have no severe mental health issues, no active drug/alcohol abuse, no domestic violence cases. Cannot be an immigrant without government issued paperwork. Certain criminal records will exclude guests ( i.e. crimes against person, property and sex offenders). Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource.
