Project Home provides transitional housing for veterans who are struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues or who have been unemployed for a long time. The program helps residents with finding a job and accessing veterans services. Veterans can stay for up to two years but the goal is to get them into their own apartment quickly.

Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses.
