Gateway Assessment Center is the first step in getting into "Ada's Place" emergency housing for homeless families. Families on the waiting list receive weekly case management and some support services. Once housed at 'Ada's Place', participants are allowed to stay for 50 days and receive case managment services to assist in securing stable, long-term housing. Gateway Assessment Center may provide emergency, short-term shelter. Contact the Salvation Army or YWCA during weekday business hours or the Missoula Police Department or Poverello Center afterhours, holidays and weekends. If participants don't comply during waiting period, must reapply and start waiting period over. Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource.
