General Information:
SERVICES OFFERED: Women and their dependent children who are homeless due to domestic abuse and are transitioning out of the abusive relationship may be eligible for program which includes renting (at 30% of gross income) and case management services. Participants may remain in program for up to 2 years. ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABILITIES: Reserved accessible parking is available. Building entrance is free from steps and curbs. Doorways and hallways are at least 36" wide. Restrooms accommodate wheelchairs. TTY available. Someone is available to read material one-on-one with clients. Eligibility:Domestic abuse victims and their dependent children who are homeless as a result of domestic abuse, who have chosen to live separate from abuser and participant in case management services, and meet income eligiblity. Intake procedure:Call or walk in for assessment. Fees:Rent charges are based on 30% of gross income. Area served:Portage, Waupaca, Waushara and Marquette counties. Hours:24 hrs.
