General Information:
Broward County Transitional Housing. Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm for intake. Shelter provided 24 hours, 7 days a week Fees charged: Families pay 30% of net income, individuals pay 15% of net income Intake procedure: Register with Homeless Helpline 954-563-HELP and a S. Army representative will schedule an interview. Photo ID required. Eligibility requirements: Homeless Individuals & families; income from employment or promise of employment; be clean & sober, able to self-manage meds Service Description Provides transitional lodging for up to 24 months for homeless individuals and families, with parents ages 21 years and over. Individuals and families transitioning from emergency shelter situations are eligible, as well as those who were recently living in a structured environment. Services include case management and life skills classes, including career development assistance. Medical, vision, hearing and dental clinics available to all residents. Must be employed and work at least 30 hours per week. Fees may apply for this Transitional Housing resource.
