Class of Housing/Services: Transitional Housing, Shelter for women who are victims of domestic violence.

General Information:
Residential Services Hope’s Door New Beginning Center offers two types of residential services to survivors of intimate partner and family violence – emergency shelter and Rapid Rehousing.   Our emergency shelters offer temporary housing to survivors and their children fleeing life-threatening situations. Clients living in our emergency shelters are provided with food, clothing and all the necessities of daily living along with case management, safety planning, counseling, legal advocacy, and referral to other community resources. Clients can stay in the emergency shelters for up to 90 days and the location of the shelters remain strictly confidential to ensure the safety of those living in the shelters. Children living in the shelters are enrolled in schools nearby or may attend their home school if it is safe to do so.   Once a client leaves one of our emergency shelters, she may be eligible to participate in our Rapid Rehousing program (Avenue Hope). This program provides up to 12-months rental assistance along with case management and life skills workshops.
