Class of Housing/Services: Shelter for women.

General Information:
Applicants must be residents of Lackawanna County for at least three months. Women must be homeless without substantial resources and for reasons other than domestic violence; drug and alcohol free; physically and emotionally able to care for their children; and willing to assist with household tasks and cooperate in a shared living situation. Services include: Shelter Case management Medical Assessment Health service referrals Transportation Linkages to community resources Life skills training Housing counseling Referrals to the Center’s Furniture Bank Vocational assistance All services are provided free of charge.
