General Information:
Homecoming Project is an eight bed, state certified half-way house for women recovering from alcohol and substance abuse.  The mission of Homecoming Project is to provide women with a comprehensive, family-oriented program of recovery from homelessness and substance abuse in a supportive residential environment. With help from Homecoming's dedicated staff, certified addiction counselor and partner agencies,  each of our residents will exit the cycle of poverty, helplessness and addiction to rejoin her community as a healthy, productive citizen. Eligibility Homecoming Project is open to female applicants over the age of 18 who have been given a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency. We currently have no availabilities.   Please contact us for more information or to be added to our waiting list. To be eligible for admission, the prospective resident must:     Be female     Be at least 18 years of age     Have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency     Have a minimum of 10 days free of alcohol and/or other drugs     Have completed an inpatient or intensive outpatient program within 30 days of admission -OR-     Consent to evaluation and treatment at a local approved mental health agency or an agency treating chemical dependency     Be willing to comply with Homecoming’s policies and procedures including recommended length of time in the program     Must not have outstanding legal warrants     Must not pose a threat to self, staff or other clients     Must be able to perform activities of daily living without assistance
