OUR MISSION is to provide scholarship funding for low-income students and reentry Personnel. The scholarship is a gift for the students so that they may attend colleges and universities within the Delaware Valley without the concern of financing their education. It is also intended to encourage students who have demonstrated the capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, the motivation to achieve these goals and the initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress. Our GOAL is to provide for $10,000 per student per academic year. In the future, the PEC-TRC Scholarship Fund would like to distribute 500 gifts annually. We shall select students from local High Schools or re-entry students within the Delaware Valley that has demonstrated academic superiority. Our VISION is to provide funding for increasing tuition and room and board expenses, summer classes, study abroad programs, and act as a resource through which students may be able to find jobs, training and internships related to their field of study.Our center?s mission is to provide one-on-one mentoring and tutoring, computers labs and dormitories and temporary housing for the entire family. The PEC-TRC Scholarship Fund is comprised of many people who together form a team united by the common goal of making a profound difference in the lives of young people between the ages of 18 to 27 years old. This team strives to give more opportunities to more students every year, and provide them with the educational and life experiences to be successful in their future.
