Review the details below: Street Law Began In 1972 As A Project Of Georgetown University Law Center In Which Law Students Received Academic Credit For Teaching Practical Law In D.C. Public High Schools. Today More Than 40 Law Schools Across The U.S. Are Using The Street Law Model, And Students In The U.S. And Internationally Are Becoming "Street Law Educated" Through Programs In Law, Democracy, Conflict Resolution, Advocacy, And Human Rights Education. A "Street Law" Education Is A Dynamic Combination Of Substantive Information About Law, Democracy And Human Rights Combined With Cooperative Strategies That Build Critical Thinking, Conflict Resolution Communications And Advocacy Skills, And Positive Interaction With The Community.
