Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter The Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter is a temporary residence for individuals and families who have lost safe and stable housing. The shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It serves as a temporary home to approximately 70 to 75 people at any given time. Typically, about one third of the residents are children. Contributions from generous donors and the incredible effort put forth by hundreds of hard-working volunteers each year are the driving force behind the shelter. The Housing Link is a program of Housing Continuum Care of Bucks County. The Bucks County Housing Link program opened on November 11, 2013. The Housing Link is an innovative collaboration between housing agencies, homeless advocates and County government to provide a centralized intake and coordinated assessment process into the housing crisis response system in Bucks County. The Housing Link assesses all persons experiencing a housing-related crisis or homelessness via a phone screening and eligibility assessment and an in-person interview. Homeless?
